Pentair Kreepy Krauly K70405 Features

This Kreepy Krauly K70405 cleaner is one of the most popular suction-side cleaners. The inground automatic pool cleaner is good for vinyl, fiberglass and for tile pools. It works for you whenever your pool pump works as it uses the existing filtration system. It has no gears or wheels to get stuck.

Pentair Kreepy Krauly K70405 Reviews Summary

The Pros of the K70405: The set up is easy and quick if you just follow the manual (about 25 minutes). After you  hook it up on the skimmer it works well and it does pick up all our debris. Overall this suction side pool cleaner is a great time saver! You still need to do a few things manually though. But your pool is sparkling even when you are too busy to clean it up.

The Cons of the K70405: The K70405 is great but there are a few flaws: It keeps clogging so you will need an extra filter to fit into the hose a few feet from the skimmer to keep this clogging to a minimum. (for example the Hayward Pool Vac Navigator Standard Leaf Canister W560 ) The hose becomes brittle after two years of sun and water so you will need to replace hose sections. An other drawback are the steps. As it doesn’t clean those you will still need to do these by hand.
